The following diary entry is shared to provide insight into my personal use of cannabis to alleviate a series of medical and health issues, inclusive of insomnia and loss of appetite.
Swiss Watch has layers of aromas starting with a strong, clean and clear pine, earthy, and spice but then after that initial essence is established the more delicate and nuanced touches of vanilla, citrus and floral notes make themselves known and dominate the consumer’s attention. The flavor is unique and really quite surprising coming through with a sweet, buttery pine. Almost like a cannabis infused cream cheese icing.
The high starts off with a burst of creative and clear energy. This consumer found himself awake, alert very engaged and interested in getting work done, tackling tasks, and moving forward with complicated matters. This feeling did not last long. In less than 45 minutes I found myself on the couch, shoving chocolate and pretzels into my mouth, and dozing off between fistfuls of munchies.
I highly recommend Swiss Watch to those consumers looking for novel and perplexing aromas and flavors. The sweet cream and pine flavor and the delicate citrus floral aroma are still on my mind and are like nothing I have experienced before. They really brought to mind a dessert buffet in some clean spring meadow. There is an intensity to the bud which may be a bit much for novice consumers, but experienced tokers will have no issues. To those novice consumers, as always, moderation please.

SWISS WATCH is the third of ten flowers I recently received from Chiang Mai based White Labs and after enjoying such diverse buds from their menu such as Ice Bath and Blue Dream, I was keen to roll up this particular flower specifically due to its iconic genetics of Gary Payton x Runts. SW is an indica leaning hybrid and with this specific lineage, paired with the high standard set by the terp tsunami of White Labs Ice Bath, I had real high hopes for big flavour and another entry into the BUDHUNTER NINE CLUB.
VISUALS:
Another visually stunning bud from White Labs Thailand. SWISS WATCH boasts Icy hues of purple and pink that warp around tight, aesthetic knots of orange pistils. Intact trichome heads enhance the frostiness of the flower giving it a genuinely snowy look and an immaculate trim results in a bud that you almost hate to stick into your grinder – it’s just that beautiful!
NOSE:
Cracking the mylar spills sweet and sugary candy notes alongside heavy fuel-like gas & biscuit up front. A hint of vanilla and a faint cakiness creep up the back-end and once a nug is broken full on runts-like candy fumes dominate the profile. Upon the grind the biscuit and fuel rises to meet the candy creating a mouth-wateringly rich and gassy Runtz forward scent.
FLAVOUR:
The intense candy and fuel translates directly to the dry-toke. The subtle biscuit flavour is here also but sits further back alongside hints of pine and citrus. It’s once again coming off real sweet and Runtzy.
Lighting up yields further heavy candy and fuel obliteration with the profile translating perfectly from bag to grind, dry-toke to spark – and it is LOUD as hell. The biscuit makes a welcome return, adding refinement to the fuel and there’s a hint of creaminess, but beyond this it’s 50% Runtzy candy – and, in all honesty, that really is all this bud needs. It doesn’t over-complicate itself and plays to its strengths, packing a real terp-heavy punch that the Runtz haters would appreciate due to its high levels of gas and sheer LOUDness.
HIGH:
The high on SWISS WATCH produces classic hybrid effects, offering euphoria and giggles alongside a strong but manageable body high. The high itself felt clean and lucid despite its potency, which suggests that this could make a great social flower for experienced smokers. I could imagine this bud going down great alongside live music or in a festival environment.
ASH:
The ash on SWISS WATCH burns clean, producing white ash on a level with their Ice Bath.The flower combusts fully lending to its deliciously more-ish, full flavour and burns smooth and even with no issues or need to relight.
VERDICT:
White Labs SWISS WATCH is a heavy duty, candy forward strain – but don’t let that fool you, this flower has some real bite to it. Candy and gas merge pretty much perfectly here and, paired with across the board quality on par with their Ice Bath strain, this bud is further proof of White Labs ability to produce top quality, diverse and sought after terp profiles.
